Field Resources
BMS’s Survey field crews can respond quickly to mapping request.
BMS Senior Crew Leader, operating the Trimble GPS
- Auto Tracking Robotic Total Station enables a single crew member to complete mapping in the field, providing increased productivity to fast-paced projects.
- Laser Level equipment also allows work to be completed by a single crew member, reducing cost for high accuracy leveling on pad and floor certifications.
- The Electronic Total Station, utilized by a two or three member crew, is fully automated and rapidly calculates coordinates of features on project drawings.
- The Global Positioning System reduces the time and cost of many projects by using specialized satellites to survey between points without the constraints of other land-based techniques
Rugged topography in the Arizona Desert is not a problem with BMS’s quads, 4x4 vehicles, and GPS technology that allow large areas and rough terrain to be surveyed accurately and effectively.
Handling the rocky terrain is just part of our job and we have fun doing it.

Our technology is not limited to field equipment, with over 10 years of drafting back ground and over 25 years surveying experience our office personnel are more then capable of providing accurate results in a timely manor.
BMS utilizes current versions of CAD and GPS processing software for the majority of mapping production. This software integrated with field procedures enables BMS to map more efficiently than traditional methods.
